City life!
I started a new path in photography this week. My goal is to be able to walk around feeling comfortable while taking photos of my environment.
What I realized during my first session was that I had a lot of angst when it came to taking photos of people. I could not, for one moment ask anyone if I could take a photo of them so if you see people in my photos, then know that I took them without them seeing me.
I hope you will check my new set of photos called City life and sincerely comment on them. Please give me tips that would help improve my work. Say all you like as long as it's related to the photos (no hurt feelings). But please refrain from critique that are meant to hurt than help.
Thanks for being here!

I love the perspective in this photo, how did this man not see you taking his picture is what I'm curious about, he's looking right at you!
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic day and I'll be over to check out your photos a bit later.
Well I kinda tricked him. I was holding the camera way down the bottom of my hip pointed to his direction and was like looking around like I was in-search of something. While in fact I was pressing the shutter button. I took a couple of shot and had to crop and straight this one.
ReplyDeleteSneaky! lol I love the way it turned out though. I always ask people first if I can take their photo unless it's at something like I'm going to today. I'm going to the symphony with my nephew and I don't think that they'd stop the show for me to get permission! lol I don't even think that we can take cameras in but I'll see what I can do. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure camera is allowed but u have to shoot without flash. Take your dslr, shoot in (A) mode & don't forget to increase the ISO above 800. Success
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting character, you were brave though, he doesn't look like he belongs to the You-Are-Welcome-To-Take-A-Pic-Of-Me club . . . LOL :-D
ReplyDeleteGreetz,
Joseph
You're totally right and I guess that's what makes him interesting. Did you see my other shots?
