Another photo taken with the amazing Nikkor 50mm f1.4 lens.
It was cold and I was walking back home thinking about my shot of the day. I had no clue what it would be till I saw this beautiful daffodil flower in-front of a shoe store.
I knew immediately that it would end up becoming my shot of the day for March 11, 2010, and now it is my shot of the day for today too.
I really do love this shot. Especially the focus and the graduated yellows in the background. It leads your eye right to the focus point.
ReplyDeletehey great job with your blog! I found you from Leovi blog, come check out my art page as well =)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot M, I love the way the flower stands out in the front, what a magnificent macro shot! I wonder what the heck is going on and why you're still not showing up on my dashboard, frustrating I tell ya. I have to get back to homework, the break is over but I shall return one of these fine nights, two more days and one final paper and I'll be done this busy week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kyla! I think sometimes we're lucky to get a shot right, but with practice, that luck seems to happen more often.
ReplyDelete@Makavetis:
Thanks for stopping by! I checked your blog and your arts. At first I thought you painted them yourself, but I started realizing that I've seen them before and then read that they're just great arts from great artists. I live in Holland, a country well known for it's famous artists like van Goch, rembrandt etc.. and luckily, I can drop by a museum once on a while to see some famous painting.
Are you an artist too, or are you an artist collector?
@Darlin:
I have noticed that you're appearing twice in my followers list, don't know if you're using 2 accounts, but that only makes the problem of not seeing my updates in your dashboard worst. Do you see the link to my blog on the left hand side of your dashboard?
I think the solution to this, is for you to signin to my followers on my blog and stop following me. Then go to your dashboard and click on MANAGE, then remove my blog. Come back later to my site and add yourself there via my followers list or go to your dashboard and add me there again via the MANAGE button.
Unfortunately, I can't log in to your account and see what is happening, so it's difficult to solve it for you.
Thanks though for stopping by and wish you all the best with your final paper.
